Best friends Valentine and Proteus are two gentlemen of Verona,
and youthful love is in the air. Proteus falls for Valentine's
glamorous new girlfriend, Silvia and dumps the faithful Julia. To
win back her man, she must (like all good Shakespearean
heroines) dress up as a boy. With three outrageous outlaws, a
misbehaving dog, and fun 60's tunes in the mix, Shakespeare's
Two Gentlemen of Verona is a zany comic caper that's sure to
delight the whole family.  Purists may not like the modern
trappings, but it does help make the 16th century language a little
more accessible to the whole family.  For more details, and
directions visit

Famous for beautiful surroundings, world class music, world

  • Get there early.  Parking and seating are first come first
served.  If capacity is reached people will be turned away.

the Monday before the concert you wish to have picnic table
seats for.  Visit this page for a link to enter for your chance

Here's to the Ladies: Christine Andreas's heritage as a true
Broadway diva extends from her award-winning portrayal of Eliza
Doolittle in the 20th anniversary revival of My Fair Lady to the
current runaway Broadway hit, La Cage Aux Folles.

This concert, performed with the SSV orchestra, is her tribute to
the great ladies of the Great White Way -- Mary Martin, Ethel
Merman, Julie Andrews, Barbara Streisand, Angela Lansbury and
more --  laced with anecdotes about these sparkling stars of
Broadway.

Sunday, August 1st, 5:30 p.m.
Your Hit Parade  was one of the most popular programs on radio
and early television from 1935 to 1955. A weekly countdown of the
top Pops music of the day, including  Big Band numbers, Ella
Fitzgerald, the Andrews Sisters, Bing Crosby and early Frank
Sinatra, the program defined the youth of a generation.  Our
singers and orchestra will recreate that era, performing time-
honored ballads, one-hit wonders and and novelty songs. Join us
for your own hit parade!  Come early for our second Ice Cream
Social on this closing Sunday --  free ice cream for all, served until
the concert begins.
