Kiddie Koncierge: Earthquake Relief

Ways You Can Help With Earthquake
Relief in Haiti and Chile
Haiti
We have all seen the photos and videos of the devastation in
Haiti. Sadly, the country was impoverished even before last
week's earthquake made a bad situation worse. Government
and Non-Governmental Organizations have stepped up to help
provide relief and (no mean feat), get the aid to the affected
people. Right now, the best thing you can do is send money to
legitimate organizations that have the logistical wherewithal to
get the much needed resources to the people who most need
help. The following is a partial list of organizations accepting
donations (A lot of the NGOs listed below are also providing
assistance to Chile relief (and vice versa))
InterAction
InterAction has a list of agencies and how to donate: www.
interaction.org/crisis-list/earthquake-haiti
American Red Cross
To donate $10 immediately (to be billed to your cell phone bill
along with any relevant text charges), text the word "Haiti" to
90999. You can also visit their website www.redcross.org
Medecins Sans Frontieres
Doctors Without Borders
These guys are providing much needed medical care in Haiti
and all over the world and they don't even have a CNN show.
