Nutcracker Performances
This ballet has long become part of the holiday tradition for many.
In an effort to make that tradition a little easier to schedule, we
have listed the major Bay Area performances of the 2011 season.
If you wish to bone up on the story before you go, here is the

San Francisco Ballet Nutcracker
December 9-27th, War Memorial Opera House, San Francisco
Tickets: $35-$259
You may not know this, but the San Francisco Ballet is credited
with the first complete production of the Nutcracker in the United
States. It has become a holiday staple ever since!

Special Family Performances - For five performances only,
Nutcracker comes alive in the lobby of the Opera House one hour
prior to curtain as costumed characters greet and have their
pictures taken with children and families. Plus, the first 500
children to arrive receive a special gift! And at intermission,
everyone will be treated to complimentary juice and cookies,
courtesy of Whole Foods.
Note: 7 p.m. performances will have you out the door by 9 p.m..
